Robin Donatta Mouton

Robin Donatta Mouton is a lifelong resident of Beaumont, Texas and a 1978 graduate of Hebert High School. Robin enjoyed a successful career as Customer Service sales executive for AT & T and retired after 32 years of dedicated service in 2010.

Robin is married to her high school sweetheart Kenneth Mouton for 41 years, they have two children and 2 grand children.  She is the daughter of Robert L Donatto and the late Myra Donatto and the daughter-in-law of Edward & Mary Mouton.  

Robin is a member of the Communications Workers of America (CWA) Union where she previously served in leadership roles for many of the union programs and was a Chief and District Job Stewart.  Robin’s passion for neighborhood and community progress has been displayed through her lifelong commitment to volunteerism while serving at neighborhood schools, churches, and local foundations. A member of the Pioneering Professional Women of Beaumont.  She is a Member of NAACP.  A participant of Harvest for Lost Soul Church organization “Do Something Serve 24 hour movement” team leader. Participant with Antioch Baptist Church food distribution. Participated in the 2020 census count and helped to get Ward 4 citizens to get the COVID 19 shot. Helped to facilitate Lamar University and Greater SouthPark neighborhood partnership spring Day in the Park.  Spearhead the annual June-tenth celebration.  The Christmas Bike give away to the entire Blanchard 5th graders was her greatest joy for kids underserved.   She advocated for the First Futsal court  at Central Park on Fannin Street in Ward 4.   Advocated for the hiring more minorities in the Beaumont Police Department.  Advocated for stronger regulations to gaming sites.  Facility the change to LED lighting on Fannett Road.

She served as PTA member and classroom mom to BISD.  Robin is a faithful member of  Paradise Baptist Church where she serves in various capacities. One of her favorite committees is Pastor’s Aid.

Robin has dedicated her time to changing the landscape of ward four and has cleaned unwanted debris and junk motor vehicles from the landscape. She has implemented historical street signs that has brought recognition to the pear orchard neighborhood. Pear Orchard has produced some of the world renown athletes, business owners and professional .  She implemented and spearheaded the sticker placement on all city vehicles “In God We Trust”.  Spearhead the distribution of  donations of food and household supplies from NBC-LEO  to Beaumont Residents.  The implementation of the travel travelers doing hurricane Harvey A showering station for women and children to take showers.  Labored durning Imelda and Harvey door to door ice and drinking water for residents unable to travel to get water throughout the city.  She also, advocate for a welcome signs interning the city East bound. Instituted the anti litter campaign along interstate 10 and highway 69. Proponent for the gun buyback program.  Proponent for Beaumont Animal care facility become a no kill facility.  Voted to keep city taxes low and spearheaded the change of fortune lane to get Williams-Wright Street in honor of Getrel Wright.
